• When do I need to arrive?

The Wedding Ceremony will start at 3pm on Saturday May 9th, 2026.

  • Amphitheater of the Redwoods at Pema Osel Ling aka the Heartwood Fairgrounds:
2013 Eureka Canyon Rd, Corralitos, CA 95076

    Directions to the Venue:
If traveling from San Francisco or San Jose please do not follow Google Maps, rather head into Santa Cruz and navigate long the Pacific Coast Highway (Route 1) through the town of Corralitos. This route is much safer and reliable.

    Parking:

    Available on-site and overnight.

  • DRIVE

Parking is available at the festival grounds. If you drive, be aware that google maps from San Jose will take you off-roading. Instead, drive towards Santa Cruz and take Route 1 through Aptos then into Corralitos before heading into the Mountains.

  • Although it’s California in the spring, please prepare yourselves! That means chilly season. Similar to Chicago in April.

The Santa Cruz uniform is warm sweaters with socks & sandals.

  • This will be an adults-only celebration.

  • There is not a restaurant or camp store on the grounds.

The wedding reception will be buffet style and open bar. All other events will have some snacks and refreshments.

If staying at the Heartwood festival grounds please bring any specific food and beverages for your own enjoyment. Some essentials will be available (oatmeal, eggs, coffee, milk, sandwich basics, chips)

  • It’s off-grid!

There is electricity expect no wifi or cell reception throughout the weekend.

  • Amphitheater of the redwoods is operated by a Tibetan Buddhist organization and it’s essential to their beliefs that there shall be NO smoking or vaping on site. All ingestible allowed.

Open fires are not allowed so no need to bring firewood. In the evenings there will be a fire ring hosted by the campground host.

  • Heartwood is completely smoke free!

Amphitheater of the redwoods operates under Buddhists traditions and it’s essential to their beliefs that there shall be NO smoking or vaping on site. All ingestible allowed.

  • Heartwood Campground

Sarah & Steph will be lodging at the venue for all nights. We welcome your company but understand that rustic living in the wilderness isn’t for all.

    Seacliff Inn Aptos

Tapestry Collection by Hilton is our first recommendation as it’s central to lots of Santa Cruz attractions as well as the wedding venue.

We recommend staying at the hotel for better access to sightseeing and for ease of getting ready the day of the wedding. If you’d like to check-out Saturday afternoon and camp out with us for the Big Day you are more than welcome!

Lots of Lodging in and around Santa Cruz

There are many options for lodging in Santa Cruz. Note that the wedding is about 45 minutes into the mountains and it may be difficult to use Uber/Lyft as a reliable mode for transportation night of the wedding.
